BUTASTUP BARBERA DEL MONFERRATO
SPARKLING – Ancestral Method

A niche product that numbers only a few hundred bottles a year. The aromatic notes of Brachetto and Muscat combined with the structure of Chardonnay make this wine complex and suitable for the entire meal. Serving temperature 7/8 °C.

 

A blending of Brachetto, Muscat and Chardonnay grapes from the vineyards situated in the La Serra estate in the town of Vaglio Serra, with calcareous-clayey soil and north-east exposure for the Chardonnay and southern exposure for the Brachetto and Muscat.

 

Bottled during the March moon, after a few months it develops natural fermentation thanks to the natural yeasts and sugars still present from the harvest.

COLOUR

Pale ruby red with onion-skin highlights; sparkling with a dense and fleeting perlage. The opalescence at the end of the bottle is typical of this method

FLAVOUR

Average body and pleasant persistence offset by a balanced presence of acidity, the absence of sugary residues and an enjoyable sapidity.

BOUQUET

Intense and persistent aromatic floral notes typical of Brachetto (rose, geranium); all intensified by the lingering effect of the CO2 naturally created in the bottle.
