WHAT IS THAT?

The Qualità Vegetariana® and Vagan certification is applicable to:
All food products that present a risk of presence of ingredients of animal origin. Products and products not included in the definition of food, which present a risk of use of ingredients of animal origin. Accommodation facilities that ensure the preparation of vegetarian / vegan dishes.

 

The Vegetarian Quality certification facilitates obtaining the V-Label.eu brand

KEY POINTS

The requirements for a product to obtain certification and use the Qualità Vegetariana® mark are:

  • Exclusion of the ingredients which obtained the sacrifice of animals.
  • The use of BIO-certified animal derivatives (eg, milk, eggs, etc.) or obtained from animals reared in the wild.
  • The absence of parts of animal origin also in equipment and packaging materials.

The main requirements for a product to be certified and to use the Vegan Quality Vegetariana® logo are:

  • Exclusion of ingredients and derivatives of animal origin.
  • The absence of parts of animal origin also in equipment and packaging materials.
